Swamp School Classroom and Field Wetland Delineation Training - Pittsburgh, PA
This training will teach the procedure for undertaking a wetland delineation using the 1987 USACOE Wetlands Manual. Also included is the use of regional supplements to the manual, using the Eastern Mountains and Piedmont, Northcentral Northeast, and Midwest supplements that encompass much of the Mid-Atlantic. This course is also pre-approved for 36 hours of continuing education credit that can be used for WPIT or PWS certification.

SWS Twitter Symposium 2018 - Online
The SWS is hosting a conference on Twitter throughout the day. There will be three sessions with themes focused on Wetland Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services, Threats and Drivers of Change in Wetlands, and Wetland Restoration and Management. Follow along and participate from anywhere in the world using the hashtag #SWSTwitterSymp2018. Abstracts for presentations are being accepted until September 21st.

Wetlands Workgroup Joint Meeting - Cooperstown, NY
This is a joint meeting of the New England Biological Assessment Wetlands Workgroup (NEBAWWG) and the Mid-Atlantic Wetlands Workgroup (MAWWG). Attendees will discuss topics including improved wetlands monitoring and assessment approaches, innovations in wetland inventory and mapping, and tools to improve mitigation/restoration planning & performance.
