Society of Wetland Scientists Professional Certification Program (SWSPCP) - The Wetland Professional in Training (WPIT) certification is intended for those who have completed an educational background related to wetlands. This certification can leads to the Professional Wetland Scientists (PWS) certification after 5 years of professional and/or graduate work.
Rutgers Office of Continuing Professional Education - Rutgers offers a number of professional wetland training courses and offers a cirriculum that leads to their Wetland Delineation Certificate. These courses and certificate can be used as education credits towards WPIT/PWS certification.
Swamp School - The Swamp School offers a number of professional wetland training courses, many of which can be used as education credits for the WPIT/PWS certification. Many are offered as webinars, with regional field and classroom based courses offered throughout the east.
